Res and Nancy sit opposite each other. Their feet touch the same ground, and yet they draw a boundary between themselves.

That is what connects them.

When Res or Nancy speaks, Nancy or Res sometimes doesn’t really listen. Maybe out of fear of the other perspective. But sometimes, they truly listen to each other—fully focused and with their complete attention. Then Res and Nancy are genuinely moved by what Nancy or Res has said.
