Two fence posts, the clicking sound of an electric fence, but no wire. Off Fence is a side specific work that deals with the perception of boundaries and was created during a residency in Tersnaus (CH).

On the one hand, the work is based on extensive research on fences, enclosures and boundaries; on the other hand, it is linked to the experience of being a stranger and the perception of boundaries in the mountain village Tersnaus, especially at the beginning of the residency.
